Twenty of your best images with standard editing, styled in the moody, "painterly" or fashion forward way with dark backdrops and thoughtfully planned poses and props, from which you will choose 3 images to be fully transformed into beautiful art pieces, with attention to every detail during the editing process. Many hours are spent on these images, after we take them, to give them a timeless, heirloom quality that can be treasured for generations. These images stand out as unique, glamorous, and creative photos that will captivate your guests and Instagram fans, alike. Art pieces are delivered in high resolution, digital downloads, and printed on your choice of 8x10 or 11x14 pearl, glossy, or watercolor paper, backed with a stiff mounting board so it does not warp over time. Formal attire strongly recommended for a timeless look.

For corporate or personal branding, school photos, or modeling headshots, your pick of 5 images, perfected with your preference of editing (choose from full retouch boutique style edits or natural touch). Available editing services include but not limited to teeth whitening, makeup enhancement, hair movement, eye enhancement, glasses glare removal, etc. Your choice of full color or black & white (any combination). Rights for sharing on social networks, portfolio usage, and personal branding is included.

A note on editing levels...
"Standard" Editing is still a cut above the rest with color corrections, backgrounds enhanced, a professional look that is still very worthy of being on a card or in a frame. We consider this to be the "standard" level because it is what you could expect from any experienced photographer. If you want a special look or a treasured heirloom, we suggest adding on a higher level of retouch such as the Boutique or Fine Art Edits.
"Boutique" Editing is considered high retouch editing, where every detail is checked and perfected on the face, hair and skin are smoothed, unflattering highlights and shadows fixed, imperfections in background or clothing are softened (or removed in some cases), beautiful filters applied for color pops, and just the right bokeh.
"Fine Art" or "Painterly" Editing is like nothing you have seen before from a normal photographer. This is where Laney's art and graphics background comes into play to create totally unique, custom art for your wall! Each image goes through a 15 line checklist of edits plus special artistic changes like brush strokes, actual digital painting, and very special filters that may include composite images (blending different images together) or items put into the image that were not in the original shot to create photo magic! Some clients also ask for "Fine Art" editing if they just want a beautiful portrait. It doesn't have to include special effects, but they know it will be their best look, in full frame, capable of being enlarged without flaws.
Things we are not able to do...
In the past we have offered many typical photography services, and have enjoyed meeting client's needs no matter where they are at. In this season of Laney's career, she has chosen to focus on the type of sessions (above) that bring the most joy because through that joy comes her best work, and the best results for you. We are not offering wedding services or high volume sports pictures at this time, however bridal portraits or individual sports portraits (like senior sessions) are 100% within what we do, and we are happy to help you get those scheduled based on your needs with one of the session types above.
Laney does not take free, consignment, or barter work, no matter how good your deal may seem to you. Work is work, and everyone deserves to be paid to do their work. Photographers are not an exception.
We offer two types of discounts only-- models (recruited during a model call) receive reduced rates in exchange for modeling in advertisements and marketing campaigns. Family and friends who know us in person receive $100 off any session package. This has been updated as of 7/23.
